Little Beetle Organic Wool Underwear with HIGH RISE - Our scrumptiously soft, feels-like-cotton wool, as underwear. The original, low-waisted undies were designed by Jenny at Tiny Birds. The high-rise undies are ideal for high-waisted kids, as well as for those who just like the look! They fit exactly like the original undies, but with about an inch and a half added at the top!

These can be worn alone or over regular underwear as an advanced potty learning pant. An especially thin option with just one layer, these are ideally suited for ECers and children in the final stages of potty learning (b/c they will contain dampness as the little one learns to "hold it" while getting to the potty). For the earlier stages of potty learning, see our new Little Beetle Learners!

1 layer, elastic at waist - not in legs. Your choice in colour for undie AND waist trim!

You can see the changes aren’t extreme but they are cute! Better for Babies has added a contrasting waistband (a fun way to utilize fabric remnants that might otherwise go to waste) to the original  Little Beetle organic wool undies.

Care instructions:

Wool care is super easy!

And the benefits of wool are unmatched by any other fabric. Wool is fantastic with its breathability, antibacterial properties and natural ability to hold liquid. Indeed, after proper lanolization, it is self-cleaning (as the the urine reacts with the lanolin to form a soap) for a week or two at which point it simply needs to be gently hand washed and/or re-lanolized.

Hand wash your wool undies in lukewarm water using a wool safe wash and little agitation. If the wash contains lanolin, let soak for 15 minutes. Lay flat to dry (after rolling in a towel and gently squeezing to remove excess water). Olive oil soap can be used for a simple spot cleaning wash.

It is also nice to use a concentrated lanolin every month or so to provide a fuller lanolization. Simply dissolve the desired amount of lanolin (usually 1 tablespoon) in lukewarm water. And follow the same directions as above.

Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the care of your Little Beetle™ organic wool. We are happy to help.
