Little-to-Big Beetle (fits now, grows later)
Introducing organic diapers & wool covers with a Growth Policy! Babies just keep growing (even at 4 and 7 years old, our kids are still at it)! Thanks to a shrewdly designed snap arrangement, our Little-to-Big Beetle grows with your child. It's the first and last diaper you'll ever need. Designed to fit 6-36 lbs.
We consider it part of our quest to make the world more comfy, less wasteful - and better for babies!
All of our Little Beetle hemp and organic cotton fitted diapers come with our innovative semi-attached and foldable beetle booster. Fold to the front, back or lay flat for customized absorbency where your little one needs it most. Even more COOL, the 'beetle' is designed so that for heavy wetters or nighttime a doubler slides under and is held secure without snaps or other fasteners.
Available in Natural (untreated cotton colour), Elemental Blue, Earthy Orange, Willow Green, Jitterbug Red* and Lotus Purple*
Choose Aplix or Snaps for closure and a doubler is *always* included!
Made in USA.
* Please note that the Little Beetles in Jitterbug Red and Lotus Purple are made with a new fabric on the outside layer. It's still a wonderfully soft organic cotton velour but for stability, 20% (post consumer) recycled polyester has been added to the backing. The white fabric inside remains 100% organic cotton. To learn more about this decision and the resulting reduction in BFB's carbon footprint, please see the company's blog entry entitled Uncompromising (www.betterforbabiesblog.com).
Like all products sold at EC Wear, these diapers are sweatshop-free. Made in the U.S.A.
Care instructions:
We recommend a cold pre-wash/wash or rinse first, then a hot wash (140 degrees Fahrenheit). Do not boil your diapers as this can ruin the elastic. Use a small amount of laundry detergent each time (too much detergent can create a residue). Use vinegar occasionally in the rinse to help keep the diapers soft. And please, no fabric softener or treatments of any kind. These can ruin a diaper's absorbency.
It may not be realistic every time, but the more you can dry your diapers on low or medium the longer their life will be.
