Diaper covers have come a long way from the old-fashioned plastic bloomers - they are now available with velcro for easy on/off, in modern fabrics and colors.

For EC you may only need a few waterproof diaper covers for when you need the extra protection for special clothes or a grandparent visit. Covers are a convenient and cost-effective addition to your diapering system, so you can add the cover when you need the extra protection and remove it when you don't.

You can use a diaper cover over an EC Liner, a folded flat or prefold diaper (with or without a Snappi), a fitted non-waterproof diaper, or training pants.
